@countrypeaches42013 that's what I was thinking. Foxes are so sly and efficient at hunting. I don't know how long it would take for it to move on once the "food source" is eliminated. I know keeping them in the garage is probably very NOT ideal.
yeah definitely not the best but I'll do what I have to. I wish my lab was a little better at being a lab and would chase it away instead of watching it

Yeah no one cares if I shoot a fox where I live. My problem is I don't have a gun. I think when I get my dog's hip pain under control he would be more useful at chasing one away. But these are the things we just have to go through if we are going to have free range chickens. I just hate that I've never seen a fox in the 2 years my chickens have been out, wonder why it's just becoming a problem

@leonardsquared we have a little bb gun but really nothing has come for my chickens before and the horses can defend themselves. My husband's looking into getting a 22
