We are still renting to own right? And told the landlord this would be a problem after the hurricane. It's been almost a year and he said " it wasn't gonna fall "any time soon. We woke up at 8am to the whole house shaking. Thank God it didn't kill anyone & it hit the trailer in the back a little bit. A live wire is down and everything. Ppl handling it now.

I am glad everyone is okay!
I am 99% sure that next time (God forbid) if you call the power company, they have a whole tree trimming crew that will come out after a storm, because it is cheaper for them to take care of the tree than lose the power line.
At least in our area they do. My mom had a tree she didn't like the look of and they came out and trimmed it way back from the line.
Shame on your landlord. That was an accident waiting to happen!

Thank you. Yes mam all of our neighbors been told him and the other landlord was even willing to pay half with ours to get the tree down but he got mad and didn't wanna.

Awe how scary glad nothing happened. But if you are renting to own this is considered yard maintenance and technically your responsibility. Atleast here it is. Unless specified in your contract.

That's what we was thinking but he didn't wanna agree to that either & that shit was expensive. We was broke lol
