my last vehicle was through a local credit union. We bought it from a used car dealer and they had the special rate through this dealer. I believe it was 1.99%. But it was a local credit union and you could seek it out on your own if the dealer doesn’t have any special financing offers.

In my experience, credit unions are the most customer friendly. I have an account at a bank and a credit union, and like the credit union a lot more.
