Has anyone dealt with there kids pulling there hair out? Violet uses her dummies to wrap her hair around and pull it out, so i only give her dummies when needed but now she just using her hands and the chunks are getting bigger. Im worried she'll have no hair left 😭
Theres no 1 trigger that makes her do it either.

I thought of this but thought she was way to young for it. Through out the day I can see her going to do it so I just move her hands away but during the night I can't stop her as she uses her dummy. I'll try the wetting the hair tip and try get her to wear headbands see if it helps thank you

To add I can't put her hair up because she just rips the bobble out and then that's more hair 🙈
This is called trichotillomania. It’s a compulsion and quite common. I would suggest wetting her hair as it makes it harder to grip and pull, headbands or hats or even mittens. I’ve had it for years and sometimes wear plastic gloves when I’m stressed as it stops me because I can’t grip my hair. X
