Lol what were the excuses though? My professors have been very flexible during covid times. I’ve handed everything in on time but I know students that needed extensions due to family members being sick or bc they’re struggling with their mental health, etc.

I was going to try to be flexible, but it gets so complicated if you don't go by your own schedule and multiple people have 2 or 3 assignments out in different classes

Yup! And it’s a pain in the ass to go back and grade on person’s late assignment after you’ve graded everyone else’s and have moved on to a totally new assignment. It’s really hard to keep track of and stay organized with different assignments coming in late at random times!

I do take points off for late submissions on one type of assignment since it is autograded
