My husband and I were literally just talking about this. I like long names that have cute nicknames that can come from them so they have options as they go through different life stages. Kids aren't kids forever people!

That’s my son’s name too. And in 55, 60 years when he’s a grandfather, I’m sure there will be plenty of other grandfathers named Brayden too, lol.

@momgroupreject, @dontspankme, oh. I guess it depends on where you’re from. That’s how I spell my sons name and I’ve never even met anyone named Brayden that spelled it differently.

I’m typically a weird one with spelling, too. 🥴 I guess it would seem weird to me if it was bradyn or something like that, but it’s spelled like it’s pronounced. My husband picked his first name & spelling, so I guess I really didn’t pay attention to other ways. My hubby grew up with the name Kerry, so he just wanted his son to have a name that wouldn’t get him mistaken for a girl lol. (His words, not mine 😬)

My kids have weird names, Declan & Jensen but they have very ‘normal’ middle names, Richard & Alexander...so I guess they could go by those. Lol
