A very basic vacuum and a broom if you have any tile or linoleum floors. Try to get things that you can multitask with until you can afford to buy them over time. Like you can carry a dining room chair into the family room to watch TV. A dining table can be a desk also.

Apparently Walmart sells them online now, too, but I have always found them at Dollar general and at a better price. The replacement cloths are $3.50 at Big Lots and clean so incredibly well! They have microfiber cloths for dry mopping also and you can use this mop along the shower walls, the dry mop for dusting along base boards, ceiling, walls etc so it's a very versatile item to have. As for cleaning tile; there are special cleaners out there, but they shouldn't be needed unless the grout needs a good clean. Soap and water, Pine Sol, Fabulouso, etc cleaners are fine. If you want to disinfect I love Odoban... 1 gallon mixes to make 32 gallons(appt) so it lasts a very long time and can be used on everything from flores to clothing, to the car and more!!!
