I was put under because 3 of the 4 were impacted. I was fine within a few hours and went to hang out with friends later that night. But... I was 20. I doubt it’d be that easy now. It really wasn’t too bad.

I was out completely out, I had all mine removed. No pains meds aside from Tylenol. I was just really really swollen.

I’m so scared to be put to sleep it’s my worst fear. The dentist assisted I would not want to be awake but I’m like 🥴

all I remember is them putting the over in and I was out. I woke up and went across the street to
Target, they tried kicking me out cause they thought I was drunk until my husband told them I just got out of surgery. It was so easy and so quick I was so scared for no reason. I wouldn’t have wanted to be awake, but that’s just me. I think you’ll be fine 💜

It depends on if their impacted or not, i had three of mine out last year. I was awake sore the next few days but they just numbed me.

I've had both of my top wisdom teeth removed and it was easy peasy for me.
I had it done in my dentist office, on my lunch break, the first time. I went back to work afterwards and finished up my day. The 2nd one happened to be on a day off, but same thing. We did it right there in his office and all was well.
He always numbs me up extra extra good before he starts, gives me the gas, pulls it and then gives me another couple numby shots and gas when he's done. The worst pain I'm ever in is that first shot in the gums and it's quickly over with after that.
I don't let him write me scripts for pain meds (personal preference/reasons) so he always juices me up with the numby stuff and a little extra gas to get me through the worst of it. I always take ibuprofen AS SOON as I can start feelin the tingle in my lips and can tell the feeling is coming back. Once you get through the first night and that next mornin it's really smooth sailin from there. As long as you stay in front of the pain, DON'T wait for it to start hurting, just take whatever med your given as often as allowed in the first 24 hours.

I had one taken out when I was 20 something weeks pregnant with Ellie . It wasn’t so bad they give you novcaine to numb the location . The worst part was hearing the sound of them banging the tooth out . Not sure if it’s normally done like that or only bc my wisdom tooth cracked directly in half . They had to band it and crack it out 3 times . I didn’t feel pain slight pulling / tugging . Recovery was just keeping gaze in your mouth till you stopped eating . Eat on the other side so you didn’t get food in the whole . I would recommend bringing headphone to avoid the sound

I was put to sleep, but mine were impacted, growing sideways and pushing my teeth together. I remember answering the dentist questions that he was asking someone else. Laughing when I realized, and then I woke up demanding mcdonald's 🤣 never got it. Anesthesia hit me hard and I slept for almost three days.

I was awake. Was given laughing gas and some anti-anxiety med, in addition to my mouth being numb. The numbing agent wore off half way through. My teeth were impacted and after the procedure my dentist said he probably shouldn’t have done it and should have sent me to a dental surgeon instead 🤦🏼♀️ I needed the pain meds for nearly 2 weeks and my face got so so swollen. Was truly awful.
Editing to add: they did apply more numbing agent when it wore off!

I was put to sleep. Had all four cut out at once. It wasn't that bad afterwards, just stay on top of your pain meds.

I was 17 at the time, anesthesia made me crazy and my granny had to ride in the back seat to keep me from yelling out the window at ppl. I slept for 3 days only to wake up to take my meds and eat like pudding or jello. My mom took care of me lol I barely swole up and didn't have any bruising.
