I met my best friend in 8th grade when I moved to the area in 2009 and we've remained best friends since. Today she is coming to my house to say goodbye because she is moving away and my heart is broken. We have kids close to the same age and she and I are super close. I'm so sad to have her leave but I'm excited for her new adventure she and her family are about to begin. I'm going to miss her so much 🥺

One of mine moved to TX and it's hard, it was way before we even had kids and we were really good at staying in touch. Now it's when possible but when we do talk it's like old times. Good luck to your friend and you guys will definitely have to plan trips together!

Aww, I’m sorry. It is so hard to be apart from close friends! When we moved from Maine to Alaska I left my two closest friends and it was not easy. I’m sure it’s even harder for you guys since your kids played together. Hopefully she’s not going far? Or at least staying in the same time zone? Luckily it’s so easy to keep in touch these days!

I'm in NY and she's going to Ohio for 3 months and her job will keep her moving every 3 months for a year and a half. Her husband quit his job to be a stay at home dad so she can travel for work and do what she wants and hopefully in a year and a half she will move back to the area. We will miss them for sure but there's hope for them to come back.
