Anyone else working In Healthcare just feeling so burnt out?? π Iβm so tired and my company just announced nobody is allowed to take holidays again this year. So not fair. Iβve been putting in overtime every week and it feels like thereβs no end in sight.
We lost holidays about 5 years ago. That was the lowest. I remember patients saying, "But it's Christmas?! Why am I doing therapy today?" And you had to come up with a reason that wasn't profit.
Itβs so hard. I want to take a summer vacation and spend those with my kids. And the worst part is all the management still gets to take theirs because their not front line staff.
@maddoxsmama that's really crud management. They should be stepping aside to do all they can for the front line. I can't imagine the stress right now. :(
I was in management for 15 years in healthcare before taking FMLA and then they sneakily laid me off to hire a cheaper new grad. Best thing that ever happened to me. Healthcare is so hard. They constantly squeeze the workers because heaven forbid the upper management makes less, and then want to try to guilt us over completely unreasonable standards.
