I don't know what it is, but i hate when lther parents say"you gotta go listen to your mom"

Why does that bug you? Genuinely curious because if my step kids momma says something to them I tell them they need to listen to her and I do it to my friends kids as well especially if they're acting out. I back up their parents.

I would jst must be like hey savannah ur mom is calling u . And if u didn’t come to get ur child and she don’t go over there after u called her I would jst let her continue playing .. bkz if u had to leave that bad u would of went to grab ur child period . It’s not the other parents job to tell the kid wat to do. But some do it as a respect thing

Personally, I think that is the perfect way for another adult to step in to support us as the parent of our child, without crossing the line by trying to scold my babies. It doesn't hurt to support one another. It just reinforces to our children that others are watching and what mama says goes. Sorry it's annoying to you but I hope you see the good in it.

I like that kind of mom. My child listens to others better and it helps me out if they tell them to do something..

I am that kind of mom also, I think it’s just supporting the other mom when their child isn’t listening 🤷🏻‍♀️ I wouldn’t be offended if someone told my child to listen to me.

I don’t see a problem with that. There has been times where I would go to the store with my kids ( before COVID) and they would act up & someone would step in and tell them that they need to listen to me and be good.

People are too sensitive these days. It takes a village and sometimes that means chiming in to remind the kid and/or help out another mama.
