Does anyone have a smart toothbrush? My poor kiddo has horrible teeth (her dentist thinks it's genetics on ex hubby's side 😫). She constantly has cavities despite me giving her excellent oral hygiene. Her dentist recommended a mouthwash that helps see plaque but it's been discontinued. I've read up on some smart toothbrushes and am thinking about going that route for her.

We use an electric toothbrush and these tablets with our daughter. The toothbrush pulses every 30 seconds to signal a switch to another area. The tablets show where she needs to improve on brushing. We’ve also used them before brushing so she knows she’s done when the purple is all gone.

@massgirl I was thinking of getting these also but heavily supervising use. We use a kids Sonicare, but they have to be taught how to use them, people can scrub their gums away from the root if they press too hard. My husband has to use his non dominant hand with his, I teach my daughter to use a bent wrist to avoid pressure.

my daughter has a kids sonicare already. I brush 3x/daily. She just has oral issues so it's hard for be too brush for as long as I like. The oral issues combined with genetics has lead to constant cavities. I hoping if I can see where I need to focus so I can prevent what I can.

they do stain the sink but a good cleanser will take care of it.

Do you guys sell this stuff over there? It helps to protect and rebuild some of the enamel on your teeth to prevent so many cavities and protect current ones from getting worse. My dentist recommended it for me years ago when I had braces and damage from having HG with them on. The acid from throwing up destroyed my teeth around the braces. This helped so much

They should also be able to tell you where build up is happening, usually it's in hard to reach/ see areas. If you weren't wanting to buy those tablets they should also have them or something similar to use. (they probably wouldn't even charge)

@massgirl Maybe this would help.. Do you still brush her teeth or is she doing them? That's odd they don't sell the products they want you to use 😄 in my state MI paste isn't sold in stores that I know of. I'm sure it's online, we pay $18 for a small tube but it last my 4 kids 6ish months.

@scidg3 I was looking for this! It's a disclosure wash right? It's what her dentist recommended but it seems to have been discontinued I can't find it anywhere around here. Yes I still brush 3x daily. She just doesn't have the greatest teeth (dad's genetics) and the oral issues she has makes it super challenging to really get in there and brush the way she needs it. She needs to lose the rest of her baby teeth before she can get sealants which the dentist said should help

My son's teeth are not the best too. They put stuff on his teeth to stop the cavities from progressing on his baby teeth and 4 are capped. They actually put sealants on his baby teeth but the school gives them sticky foods and they have all fallen off. I'm hoping his adult teeth aren't this bad. 😔 I found this mouthwash at Target, idk if they could ship, maybe try Amazon.
