Why Did Oliver Jack Need a C-Section and NICU Care?
Oliver Jack, born at 38wks, 8lbs12oz 20.3" by csection. He's in NICU because of me having to be put completely under, he's off oxygen now but they're still monitoring due to the circumstances.
I was in a high speed car accident, a dickbag decided not to yeild while crossing the highway where I was going 70mph. I'm doing really good, fractured my right fibula and several spots in my pelvis, and a blood clot was forming in my abdomen, which is why we choose a preventative csection. I was contracting anyways and they knew it was cruel to force a vaginal labor with fractured bones. Since having him, the pressure is off my hips, and it feels so freaking good!!!
Wow I’m so sorry and I’m glad to hear you’re both ok! That’s crazy! He’s such a good weight though and I’m sure he’ll be just fine. You probably wouldn’t have wanted to push out an almost 9 lb baby anyway!
😂 I've already done that! It's funny cause we did a growth scan the day before because of large baby history and was estimated at 7lb 11 oz but obviously was wrong 🤷
Thank god your both ok. A friend of my family got in a bad accident Monday and had to have a emergency c-section(her baby was due this Sunday, 6 days later) but unfortunately the baby passed Wednesday. It was heartbreaking. Now there trying to sell all the baby items.
Wow, this is so much to process, I can't even begin to imagine how you are feeling... But what a literal bright side huh? Congrats on your baby! He's 2 weeks early but for some reason I think he's right on time. I wish you a speedy recovery and that you'll be fine to care for your newborn
