Since I know everyone loves tax refund questions I wanted to help some people out. Pull your transcripts. The irs codes everything. On your transcript there will be a code that will determine if you are a daily or weekly. That determines when your transcript will update with a Direct Deposit Date. Your transcript will update first and usually the next day your info will be updated on Where’s My Refund. If you pull your transcript and there’s a date and code 846 beside it, that is the day your refund will be sent. Below is a picture of the February calendar for updates. Hope this helps anyone who may be asking “did you get your refund yet”, “when am I getting my refund”. Also a lot of those who have claimed the EIC and ACTC are seeing deposit dates already for February 22 and 24th. Happy tax season!
