My last pregnancy I worked at a place where we wore masks before the pandemic and never noticed a difference pregnant or not. LOL I think pregnant in general I breathe heavier but that's not cause a mask. 😆🤣🤣
@scidg3, lmao yes every time I got blood work and they ask my to tell them if I’ve had any symptoms...I always second guess weather I should tell them that I have a stuffy nose 😂😂😂
I was at the store last week and I started feeling nauseous and almost passed out from the lack of oxygen to my brain after wearing my mask. I am not pregnant but I could only imagine having to wear one while pregnant.
They actually don’t affect your oxygen at all, this has been proven many times by multiple scientists and scientific journals. I think (now this is my opinion) what the issue is the warmth of our breath being “stuck” in the mask. I’ve noticed that I feel woozy when the store im in is warm but when I’m shopping at a store that has their AC full blast I have zero issues....but I’m not a doctor or a scientist so I could be talking out of my ass.
This happened to me recently !! I haven’t been food shopping since the start of the lockdown (been able to do it all online) but I had to go this one time and about 30 minutes in I started to feel really dizzy and like I was going to pass out. I realised it was because I wasn’t getting fresh air through the mask and tried to get the rest of my shopping done as quickly as possible. It was a really horrible experience though ! I don’t know how people manage to work in them all day without passing out
@emmamarch16th, i think about that all the time honestly all these essential workers having to wear masks for hours all day I can’t imagine. I end up with a bad headache and fatigue after wearing my mask if I’m out all day running errands. 🥺 These essential workers deserve way more.
I would get hot/nauseous wearing one first trimester. I did have a little bit of difficulty breathing with it during third trimester, but that’s mostly because baby was all up in my ribs.
