Leftover cauliflower pizza casserole, and my protein shake for lunch: 1 frozen banana, 1/2c frozen strawberries, handful of fresh spinach, 1/4c dairy free mini chocolate chips, 1 tbsp almond butter, 2c almond milk, 1 scoop orgain vanilla bean protein powder. I’m loving this shake combo!!!

I agree, that seems like a lot of sugar. Are you using unsweetened almond milk? And do you eat meat? I’d sub that casserole for a big turkey patty with some avocado on top 😋

@mamagunn.no.1, heck no ..lmao no sugar that’s all it takes and ppl aren’t willing to cut that shit out that drink alone is probably 1,000 calories you need lean meats veggies probley a food scale so you don’t over eat and high intensity workouts and strength training plus that protein powder I bet had shit tons of sugar substitutes 😭🤦‍♀️

@kush_queen420 that's not necessarily true. I have pcos, so alot of things turn into insulin in my body. I completely cut sugar and all carbs and still couldn't lose weight after being super thin my whole life and eating what I wanted. Even certain fruits and vegetables turn into insulin. I did keto, with exercise and lost 40lbs. One of my hubby's work mates has lost 100lbs on keto. It does work if you do it correctly with exercise, once you reach your goal weight you can maintain with a healthy low carb, low fat diet. I don't do sugar substitutes either as they also turn into insulin, I don't like sweet anyway. As I said if it's done correctly, combined with intense exercise like hiit training, it's actually very beneficial. It's not something to continue for life though.
