Has anyone been to an acupuncturist? Just looking for experiences. I'm thinking of going during my upcoming fertility…

Everyone adult in my little family bubble here in Sacramento gets acupuncture. I’ve been doing it since 2008 when I had hip surgery. I even know an amazing specialist who does acupuncture for fertility with pcos being her speciality so I think you’re on the right path with that.

I use it for a little of everything. Pain, post surgery balance, ptsd recovery. If you don’t mind tiny little needles and being okay with a lot in you at once, it’s heaven. There are points in our system they use to make sure you’re completely relaxed on that table. I’m pretty sure those are in the top of your head and neck. I fall asleep while telling the needles to do the hard work and an hour later I wake up feeling good.

Hubby uses it to get through the scar tissue in his ankle and to get the blood flow stronger in that limb and it helps reduce the swelling.

My dad goes for post hip surgery recovery, knee pain, and stress because my siblings are a lot of work.

It’s worth it, especially if you’re in an essential state where acupuncture is part of the ACA. I get sessions 2 per month covered.

I have and I love it! You feel super relaxed afterwards, as if you just got massage or something. The lady I go to dims the lights and plays quiet music. It's really nice
