SOMEBODY HELP!!
So is anyone else having behavioral issues with their 1 year old??
Mine loves to fight, he’s never fought me but he fights my niece,nephew, my mom and kids at school and his teachers, to the point where he’s leaving marks on kids and getting written up, he also punched hisself in the face.... when teachers tell me, I’m speechless because I know He doesn’t get that stuff from home... idk what to do my next step is putting him in therapy. I had behavioral health issues when I was married to his dad and was even on medication, but that was the cause of a bad marriage and crazy parents, and soon after my son was born I got away from that....maybe it’s just bad genes ????

Or maybe it's truly because he is ONE!!! Take a deep breath mama and take a step back. I know, easier said than done, but seriously take a step back and really look at the big picture. What are the triggers? What irritates him? Is he getting enough nutrition, sleep, attention? Do the other children treat him nicely or are they unkind to him? It's very rare for a 1 year old to have mental health issues, although possible, unlikely. I hope this gives you the boost you need to look at other possibilities and that something sticks out so you can seek a solution. If not, ask your ped to refer him to developmental specialists. They can help you understand normal vs abnormal behavior. Hope it's nothing! Best of no wishes!!!
