Planning on going camping this weekend. Its only for 21 1/2 days adnd 1 night. I'm kind of nervous at how Makayla (my one year old) will do. She has never slept outside of her crib in theast year in a half. Also hasnt been outside lf the house for longer then 2 hours at a time. What should i bring for her?? Or at all. I have never gone camping before.

Bug spray!!!! Blankets, pillows, beach toys(and stick to that) nc she can use the bucket to carry while you explore. Make sure to keep your food locked up safely in the vehicle after each meal(helps keep the animals away!!!), flashlight, lantern. Are you primitive camping or renting a camper? Where will you be? That will help with extra supplies.

Fort desoto beach. It's 50 minutes away not far. They have a camping area. We are camping in a tent and of anything I will put the back seats down and sleep in the car,they told flat. I'm not sure which one we will do yet

Ok, so definitely take your comfy blankets and check the weather report.ake a list of meal items. You can cook fresh food over the open fire but if you aren't experienced with that you can pack canned goods and a can opener. This is the perfect time of year for us!!! @massgirl is right about the children being worn out, but the possibility of them getting too tired is there so just gauge how tired they get and don't be afraid to call breaks. I'd limit the toys but have ones that are ok to get dirty, wet, etc and have sunscreen on hand. More tomorrow. When are you going?

Bring her comfort things (blanket, or stuff animals), dress in layers, but bring warm clothes, outdoor toys, bug spray/sun screen, hats...we used to take kiddo camping (in rv) at that age. All the fresh air and new exploring wears them out quickly but can also make them cranky since they're out of their routine. Have fun! I miss camping in Florida it's always so warm lol

I've been meaning to go camping for over 2 years, but I wanted cool nights but not freezing and not summer hot lol. Soo before summer hits, we are going.finally just taking a leap. I just kept putting it off. Thank you. Hope to have fun and hope the kids will enjoy it

yes. My in laws have a camp site and I refuse to go until early fall. It's the perfect weather. My kiddo loves going camping so I'm sure they'll love it.

Lol we do it all the time since mine we’re like 6 mths old gets a little packed but hey it’s worth it I d say any blowup mattresses a blanket to lay on a blanket to cover up with pillows, cast iron skillet spatula plates cups napkins toilet paper if u want some have bathrooms Floties for the kids food of course and your tent 🏕
