36 weeks on Tuesday 😊 this pregnancy is so much different than my last. I was so swollen around this time with Haisleigh because of preeclampsia. (Second picture) so far no sign of that happening again, thank goodness🤞 I have my last ultrasound on Tuesday to make sure she’s doing okay in there since my stomach was measuring 32 weeks at my 34 weeks appointment. My stomach didn’t grow much after 29 weeks with my first and little Haisleigh was only 3 pounds 12 oz. I’m sure it had something to do with the preeclampsia. I’m really hoping I don’t have to have a C section this time around and my body goes into labour on it’s own. Labour is so scary because anything can happen. I can’t wait to meet you baby Brynleigh, keep on cooking.
Hoping for a better outcome for you and baby this time! My second was born at 29 weeks due to severe preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome, then I had my third at 35w2d due to severe preeclampsia again. Two of my babies, including the one I carried to term were small, measured behind (my first measured 3-4 weeks behind and was born weighing under 6lbs at 40 weeks, second at 29 weeks was 2-3 weeks behind at 2lbs 1oz, and I’m not sure of my 35 weeker was behind but he was 5lbs even). The idea of going into natural labor scares me. I’ve had an induction, emergency c section, and an emergency induction vbac. I get it though, there’s so many unknowns. Are you on low dose aspirin?
Thanks for your story! I was on it but I ran out a couple weeks ago and never got more.. I probably should have. I’m just hoping it’s different this time. They said they wouldn’t induce me that i would either have to go into labour on my own or have a C section. I was so excited to hear that I could have her naturally but now I’m thinking a C section would be the safest. I really don’t know. I just want a healthy baby with no complications
