Being strangled can definitely hurt your ear. If you have been hurt, please get checked and make a police report.

no i was trying to leave peacefully didnt call police just took my kids and left so no police report or hospital visit until half a year later when I was listening to music on my headphoned and my ear started hurning and i went to the doctor to find out i had a bad infection and ruptured membrain

If you had a bad ear infection then it’s not uncommon for the eardrum to rupture due to pressure from the infection. It has happened to me multiple times. The rupture is probably due the infection rather than something else.
