Anyone who hasn't claimed taxes in 1, 2+ years get their stimulus? I got the last one even though it was just for me and my son, and my SO got it for Liam. I did taxes for 2018 and that's the last time. He's claimed us since. But bc him and I aren't married and my son isn't his, I get stimulus for him and I. But I still havnt received the second one. Last time I got it in check form.

exactly lol they told me my social security number was already used and it wasn’t. And then the lady said well you can file a identity thief report but it would take 2 years and you would still get nothing. That shit didn’t make sense too me either, like I’m disabled how that happen 😅

@the.mother.goose. @allyzmommyxlw if you filled out the non-filers tool last year for the first stimulus you should get it this time too.
I haven't received mine yet, neither have my brother's or mom. We all got it by mail last time and this one was supposed to be mailed out the 6th. Hoping it gets here soon🤞

The last time you did you taxes, did you have your tax fees taken out of your return? If so, you were probably affected by the IRS error. What company did you last file your taxes with?

H&R block. I got my first one. I didn't owe anything

no I mean like your filing fees. I'd contact H&R block. They started sending out their customers stimulus money last week. Even if you got your first stimulus just fine, this one is all messed up for a lot of people. I haven't received mine because when we filed our tax return we had our filing fees taken out of our return. When that's done a temporary bank account is made so that the company that was used to file the taxes can take the fees out and then the money is direct deposited to your actual bank account. The irs didn't verify that they were sending the stimulus money to the correct accounts before sending the 2nd stimulus out. So the money was sent to closed accounts and rejected by the bank. H&R block and turbo tax were able to get their customers stimulus money out themselves but the irs is resending other companies sometime soon. Everyone is supposed to get their money by Feb 1st. I hope this all helps some, the irs has not been very clear on what happened.

Adult dependents don’t get anything. I got nothing for my 18 and 20 year old, since they were claimed on our 2019 taxes.

Yes they took everything out before sending me the rest. I went yesterday and got a card just incase they send it to the emerald card.
