Sons bday is in 4 days and I have nothing planned .. 😭 one because I’m broke and literally Dnt get paid til the day after his bday! I know I can do something on that day but I really wanted to do something little on the day of ! I might jst dip into my savings so I can buy him a cake and a few gifts!

He's one he really doesn't know the difference but I'm the same way. I always have to celebrate kiddo on her birthday even if we have something else planned...just dip into the savings and then put it back when you get paid.

Dip into the savings! For my youngest 1st I think I spent just under $200 all together (I live in Canada and our shit is more expensive) that included 2 cakes, balloons, first bday banner, bday outfit for him, some toys and pizza for dinner. I was able to get a super cute cake with his picture on it for $10 at Walmart and then I got a blue one for a smash cake for $8.

I always do a little something the day of as well. If you plan on having a bigger party later then a cake and balloons will suffice.
