How to Handle Anxiety After a Scary Babysitting Moment?
Today my anxiety has been on 10. I have been babysitting my niece for my sister and I told her to watch my son while I go to the kitchen to make his bottle (she’s 5) and when I get back she has his diaper off and holding him on the toilet saying he has to poop. I felt bad for yelling at her but it really scared me she was really close to dropping him in the toilet all I could think is him drowning or something. I know she was just trying to help but ever since I’ve just been paranoid. I did apologize to her and explain she can’t do it but like omg I’ve been thinking about it all day.

Wait. She took him from the living room to the bathroom by herself?

No he was in his swing in my bedroom and she took him out and put him on the toilet by herself like holding him up onto the toilet.

Although I completely understand why you became upset, cause that is scary, I would recommend not telling her to "watch" him, she may have only acted that way, because you told her that, shes 5, their little brains dont quite understand such a responsibility.
