My 1 year old is getting so jealous she keeps hitting Me in the face and Everytime Her Daddy and I try to get close she starts crying, climbing over Me kicking Me in the tummy, and then hits Me. Today I have had enough..she clawed Me in the face and broke skin..yeah it made Me so irritated but I can't spank her so what do I do because I'm so fed up with her constantly hitting Me in the face & biting Me 😡🥵🥴😣

Oh there's no doubt that she's very spoiled and maybe that's where the behavior is coming from.
@al_hegerrrr2819 I have a son her age and he will hit every so often but it's out of frustration. I dont think a child this age could be called spoiled when they are just trying to get basic needs met. Hitting & biting are in my opinion ways to communicate for little babies and they need us to redirect their behavior and show them effective ways to communicate. By no means am I saying she is spoiled, she is more than likely showing appropriate aged behavior.
When my son hits, I let him know it hurts as I rub my arm. Now when someone gets hurt he runs over to rub it. Showing a child kindness will only teach them kindness.
Put her in her room every time she does it. She needs to realize every time she hurts you she will be separated.

Hitting her will only reinforce that when you’re upset you hit. Instead hold her hands and tell her that hands are not for hitting and list the things that we can use our hands for. Ask her if she’s feeling upset and then offer taking a deep breath and counting. It’s not going to work after one time but it’s better than spanking your child.

@emmamarch16th I do walk away to take a breather. Then She sits and stares at Me and then reaches up to Me so I pick her up and she puts her head into My chest. It's the sweetest thing. So I can't stay upset for very long

Personally I think she is too little for timeout or seclusion. Redirecting is a great solution, phases are real and she needs to keep seeing you guys love one another and she needs to be loved on lots. There are lots of amazing resources out there!
