Anyone experienced leg/knee pain with there kids?
Noahs always complained about sore legs since he was around 2 and doctors have said several times its growing pains but hes now 4 and it just seems to be getting worse, every night im up there rubbing his legs and knees as hes crying in pain.
Wouldnt really worry but i suffered knee dislocation and pain from a young age and id hate for noah to go through it but im not sure if that sort if thing is genetic (i still have no idea what causes my pain) or it really is just growing pains and hes just got it bad.

I've never tried but I've heard alot of people say about magnesium spray for growing pains and adding more magnesium into their diet. Could be worth a try? I know some children can get really bad growing pains. I remember in secondary school going to the nurses office with pains in my knees and groin

@abbiiqx, aww honeyyy boy 😔 yes df did that to my sd when she was little and to our daughter too. Lol it’s too much hand work I let him do it. Buy them compressions socks I get the small in adult and it’ll go all the way up his leg and just give him more in/Tylenol when he cries. As soon as I give her medicine she calms down because she knows it’s going to work xx

@abbiiqx, just go and look for some that the “compression” would be o his ankle-above knee . I think those 👆🏼 have the compressions on the foot area 🤷🏻‍♀️ but it really helps you won’t have to rub it

I used to get pain in the backs of my knees when I was little. If I remember rightly it used to be when I'd done a lot of walking that it was worse. I can remember my parents said it was growing pains back then. Can't remember when it stopped but I no longer get that pain, I have noticed that as an adult my legs hyper extend and I get a lot of calf cramping. Just a thought but watch how little one stands and see if he stands with legs so straight they bend back at knee. Or if he stands with knees flexed. Could be over extension leading to muscles getting tired?

Yeah he always complains after a day at nursery or a long walk but he hasn't done to much the past couple of days (monitoring it) and it's always the side if his knee but I will look tommorow see how he stands. Thank you x
