Soo 2 weeks about my radiator went out, installed a new one last week. Just found out the motor mounts have broken. Ha. Thank goodness motor mounts are $13 for one on Rockauto.com. The damn radiator was $180, but we did upgrade to an all aluminum 2 core. Each part that goes out will get an upgrade.
It’s a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with the 5.2. So it’s pretty beefy lol can wait to do a lift on it. We already upgraded the wheels. Needs a paint job, but it’s a great foundation.
I inherited from my grandpa, RIP 😇 love you gpa, It’s name is EE-PA (jeep and grandpa, bella named it). So it’s pretty invaluable to most, but irreplaceable to me. I am more than grateful we can keep it running.
Any way.... gotta watch my lead foot until we get those new mounts haha

I have my grandpas car and hubs is also a mechanic. I’m grateful he is able to work on it (we all know how expensive it is) when it’s needed but I hate when he’s constantly asked by others to fix their stuff.
But that’s wonderful in your situation! I was thinking of keeping a picture of my grandpa in the car.

That is a good idea! I have millions of magnets and led lights in the jeep that my grandpa put in there.
Around my birthday I found old tins with money in them under the seats. It was a wonderful gift to get from him. It was like he’s here with me. He’s the one who taught me how to walk.
