I am a stay at home to a beautiful baby boy, I am a breast milk donor, my son is exclusively breastfed, and I had an all natural birth at 38 weeks. When I was 20 weeks pregnant I almost died. I went into premature labor, I had a UTI that traveled to my kidneys. 8 hours after they stopped contractions I went septic which means my blood stopped oxidizing. I thought that I had a blood clot in my leg which came out negative. They did a cat-scan to see exactly what was wrong. I got diagnosed with the double pneumonia both of my lungs were over half way full. I was placed into a medically-induced coma for 4 days on a feeding tube and ventilator. they placed a PICC line which goes directly to your heart. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks and no one would have expected me to make it or for my son to. I was on complete bed rest for the remaining of my pregnancy. I had him at 38 weeks he is healthy as can be. All I wish is for my story I to go viral. This way I can give hope to other moms around the world.
