My name is Britta, (yes, like the water filter) and I'm 27 years old pregnant with my first child (a boy)! I just moved to Georgia after spending most of my life in Arizona and Southern California, so it's quite a change. I'm going to school online for the medical field which I've worked in all my life first as a Certified Nursing Assistant, then as a Veterinary Technician, and then a Massage Therapist. Unfortunately none of my certifications hold up to the Georgia standards so it's back to school for me! I am not working so home all day alone 🙁 but I'd love to make some new friends on here, share advice, and hopefully laugh a lot 😁 I look forward to getting to know everyone!

School fees
Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Sad panda
Blah. I'm really sad about it, but we are moving to Washington state before the end of the year ???. My family lives there, and I went to part of high school there and we lived there for a couple years when our oldest was a baby. So it's not ALL bad. But...I'm still sad to leave my neighbors ????
