I have about 6 pregnancy/conception/birth books and still feel completely clueless!!
imagine if a guy got pregnant; how they would probably run around in circles like a headless chicken and then implode. this is me.
as of 3rd may 2016 at 25 weeks I became one of the rare 2% of pregnancies with PPROM- premature preterm rupture of membranes. this means that the baby may come at any time due to my body going into spontaneous labour. the baby is at risk of infection so they will have to deliver at 34 weeks as the risk of infection outweighs her chances coping with infection. so far I have made it to 30 weeks today! (Friday 3rd June) so her chances of survival have gone up dramatically since the membranes ruptured. many ladies are counting down the days until their baby is born but I'm counting up.
this is why i have a real issue with women who are tired of being pregnant and want their baby now and can't the baby come any sooner etc..they don't know how lucky they are to have a full term pregnancy.
