@kclaireeabbey yeah that's the scariest thing about covid. It affects everyone so differently and you just don't know if you will be lucky enough to have a "mild" case, or if you'll be really sick but be able to recover at home, or if you will end up in the hospital.
I caught covid almost 4 months ago and I still don't have complete smell and taste back.
It took about a month for me to get about 70% of it back.
Now there's some things that I still can't smell or taste. For example, I can taste triscuits but I can't taste cool ranch doritos. I can smell peppermint but I can't smell eucalyptus or patchouli.
And then there are some things I can smell but they don't smell the same as they did before I caught covid, Coffee smells like burnt garlic to me now and rosemary smells kinda minty.
