If you were to go to a child’s birthday party at like a Chuck E. Cheese type place would you expect the host to pay for everyone’s food and game cards?
I have hosted a few parties at Chuck E. Cheese and water parks. I pay for the kids and parents that get invited. If they RSVP I get each kid a game card with $10 in credits and their goodie bag. The goodie bags I give out usually have a personalized item (reusable cups, towels, tshirt etc). If people who didn’t RSVP show up, I will pay for their food but they pay for their kids game cards and they get the downgraded goodie bag (bag with candies). People in both families learned the hard way. Our families were not use to RSVP but after the second party they figured out their kids were miss out. Now every time I send out invites, people RSVP within 2-3 days of receiving the invitation😂
Absolutely. For the kids invited/ rsvp’d. Not parents. But within reason. Food, drinks, treats 100%. But then I’d expect like play limit of a few games, and then I’d cover the rest for my child.
And if i was hosting, I’d do the same. Cover as much as possible, but definitely all the food & drinks.
@blueismycolor, @oggirl.mom, okay I wasn’t sure. I went to a party last night and they didn’t provide anything so I wasn’t sure if I were to have too if I ever did that
