Gas 100%! Grew up with electric and never knew anything different. We have gas now & it is far superior! It boils water and cooks soooo much faster, cooks food evenly, and the burner isn’t hot for 45 mins after you turn it off like an electric burner.
Gas. Electric takes longer to heat up and just doesn’t give quite the same results
Had electric sucks and if there ever a power outage you can still use the stove top
That's definitely a plus! This alone might sell me on a gas stove! Lol
Electric. I always have the irrational worry that the gas stove will malfunction and blow up my house
This is along the lines of my feelings. It makes me nervous. Also having the open flame, I am worried about starting a fire. If one of my kids puts something on it or near it. 😬 And my 13 yr old son likes to cook himself food. I worry more with that open flame like that.
Gas personally. I feel like it has a more even heat for cooking then electric does
