My in laws are coming over next Friday for our sons 2nd birthday. They asked what to get him. I feel funny telling people what to get my kids even if it is for a special occasion. I know they’ll get him something anyway because their grandparents. Should I give suggestions anyway or just say you being here will be gift enough?

He’s obsessed with cars and trucks. I could suggest the 99 hot wheels, books, puzzles, color books. He’s at the perfect age for that stuff. He doesn’t need anything elaborate either. Thank you!

They are going to get him something anyway so you might as well try and make it easier for them. Give them sizes he wears and what type of things he’s into. If he does need anything they’d be very happy to help I’m sure

I’ll suggest hot wheels since he’s obsessed with cars etc. Anything to stimulate his mind really or fun educational. Nothing too expensive since I worry about people spending money on my kids. Thanks!
