No. If my son wakes up, he comes in our room and will ask for cuddles and a little water (never milk) and then I move him back to his room unless he says he’s had a bad dream or isn’t feeling good

@flamingfiremom, you know what to do, you either let her cry it out or you give in. Milk is really bad for their teeth, especially at night. I would try to introduce more water to her during the day or give her a snack before bed because she could be waking up hungry.

Lol I try everyday to give her water during the day all she does is sip it into her mouth and then spit it out everywhere and also she always gets a snack before bed not a junk snack tho

@flamingfiremom, just keep trying. There are a lot things you can do like fruit infused water. Or even room temperature water.

Lynnie will not drink water at night whatsoever. She wakes up 2-3 times a night for her milk cup. If I don't give it to her she freaks out. So far no cavities thankfully🤞

Same with my daughter but it’s also a struggle to get near her mouth n brush her teeth

@flamingfiremom yeah, lynnie was hard to get her to brush her teeth at that age too. She's been doing this for two years now & the dentist say her teeth look great so I guess it's not hurting her too much.

I wish it was easier to get her to drink water but it's not & unless I want to be up all night with her crying waking her brother up then I just give her the milk & make sure she brushes her teeth the next morning.

My son doesn’t drink milk, he nurses, but only in the morning and at bedtime. He hasn’t nursed during the night since he was 2 months old. He wakes up during the night sometimes but we give him water and a diaper change if he asks and then try to get him back to bed. Sometimes he stays awake for a long time, other times he goes right back to sleep. I think it’s just their age.

In my opinion, don’t let her cry she’s 2 years old she’s still a baby. She’s get hungry and wants milk. Give her the milk and brush her teeth right after.
