@dontbeacuntasaurus We have a potty in the bathroom and I would encourage her to sit and go when I was going. She is fully trained day and night now with very rare accidents but if she is in the middle of playing or doesn't "want" to go when I ask her to go she will throw a fit. So I have to tell her she must so she can stay dry. Most of the time she is super independent and will go without help. If she is making poo she will tell me "give me privacy, mama". Then she calls for me to help her. I started telling her what a big girl she was and giving her positive affirmations each time she went. Both of my girls do well with praise so I really got excited when she was successful on the toilet. The first few days I would have her wear just a t-shirt and panties and would encourage her to use the potty every 20-30 minutes. If she had an accident I would show disappointment and tell her that we potty in the potty not our panties. I showed her the difference between wet and dry and would tell we like to stay dry. And she did great with that honest approach. We don't use rewards or sweets here for potty training. We use words and extra hugs, high fives and kisses. We also always carry a potty in the car during training and after as a good "keep on hand" item. It really comes in handy!!! Hope this all helps. I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch but am sure you get an idea. 🙂
Girl i just woke up n said son we are getting potty trained lol i was discouraged before because he’s with his dad 2 nights then me 2 nights n then he goes with his dad every other weekend n his dad is lazy so i jus was like ima wait but today i was like nah f that my son sat there n peed i was screaming n cheering n wen i made this post it was 2xs but before i put him to bed he went again
