After last year this makes me so happy and proud. Last year was so hard and basically having almost no support academically was challenging. We pushed through. I learned how he learns and we made it through homebound. Now we are virtual and it’s working out so good for him. New school, new teachers, new friends and everything virtual. I was so worried last year that he would become behind. All of the school meetings, the fighting for his IEP and getting him placed was worth it.

Yay I’m so happy to hear I remember you struggling. Is his behaviour better all round too? I found when my son who has adhd finally was at a school that worked with him and not by disciplining him for not being on task it changed everything 360.

His behavior is varied lol. We just switched meds and are in the process to get him further psychological testing for autism. He goes at the end of October. We definitely have bad days were I just need to make it to bed time without us all alive because I get so drained and to the point of losing my mind. But we definitely are seeing a lot of good changes too. I think he enjoys being in the comfort of home and being able to learn at the same time because he does have a lot of anxiety especially being away. Putting him in a contained classroom has definitely helped him. I’m happy for his new placement and with that placement he switched schools. How is your son doing?
