Okay ladies, serious question. I'm not dating and not sure when/if I'll want to date again. In the event that I do or my ex does, how long should you wait before allowing your new partner to meet your child?

At least a month or two. When I was dating I would wait until I met the person's parents until I introduced them to kiddo (she only met 2 guys btw, one becoming her adopted father)...but anyway I believe you can tell a lot about a person when you meet their parents and siblings.

Oh I like this outlook! That's going to be a rule of thumb. I have no idea what this is like and eventually when I do start dating I'm petrified of the world. You hear so many horror stories!

Just depends on how they treat them really like my husband when we first met he always bought them stuff and played with them but I always look ppl up in the system first ...we were married after a month been married 7 yrs lol
