Found this on Facebook, relates heavily with certain people I'm aquatinted to. Hopefully someone here can use this too
I think you're thinking too much into it. Fed is best is originally saying either two nutritionally sound options are great for baby and then it carries onto nutritionally sound solid food options.
Candy and sugar isn't "best" at any age. Ice cream for a meal at 1mo is the exact same as ice cream as a meal at 10yo, which isnt nutritionally ok at all.
Idk. 🤔 I believe fed is best before 6 months then. 🤭
I've met ppl in real life, not fake life, that fed their kid great up until 6 months and then they go against fed is best themselves. I don't think a meal for a toddler or someone who can't feed themselves should consist of m&m and when asked why their reply is to give them engery for daycare. 😳 I don't think a toddler should be left to be the one to decide when they want to eat to an extent. A toddler should be offered 3 meals a day and up to them if they want to eat.
Ever heard of go-go juice? 🥴 I mean, I guess I'll stay in my corner and keep judging these moms in my head!
Candy and sugar isn't best at any age. For me it was more like-"canned carrots are just as good as your organic carrots you grew yourself" or "pizza from Domino's is just as good as your homemade from scratch pizza"
That is a good point. Was going to say food for thought but didn't want to get punched.
I agree to a certain extent.
Like sometimes a mom can only afford ramen or hotdogs.
But to feed your child only candy or sugar.
I know junk food is cheaper than fruit. I mean it is a fact. I would spend 50$ just on fresh fruit for my girls when I could've gotten a crap ton of junk food.
So I'm guess I'm kinda in the middle on this one. 🤷🏼♀️
