My husband and I have talked about this. He's clean overall, but he does have a couple of things he does that are ick. He says he literally doesn't think to do things and he asks me to remind him. Which is sort of annoying, but if I ask him he does them without giving me any attitude. Like please do the dishes because I'm busy with something else. But he would let the dishes sit if I didn't ask.

Make him sleep in it. 😂😂😂

I would not say train but teach that everyone should pick up after. Not just one person obligated to. If you are at the right age to lift your things and clean then show them. Less on your plate.

Hit him with something deep like..what kind of example are you setting for the children? You think its ok for them to physically see their father not ever helping their mom around the house. Kids grow up paying attention to things like this..and you don't want them eventually doing that to someone else. Most importantly love is kind and considerate..why wouldn't you WANT to help each other out..period.
