I am very new and I am happy I discovered this platform :)
I am almost 7 weeks pregnant. I called my GP two weeks ago as soon I figured out after doing a test. She said to wait for a letter from the hospital for my first catch up with the midwife but I didn’t receive anything yet. I don’t want to stress for nothing but I know that the first scan would be schedule after that meeting and I am just worried that is going to be late. I don’t know why but I would feel calmer to know when the scan is due, to know how things are going.
I am sorry if this sounds unjustified stress but I didn’t share I am pregnant with anyone (a part from my partner) because it is so early and I would love some one to talk with, someone who went through this already... I am not sure what to expect in terms of exams etc also because I am not English and for example in my country they tend to do more scans and blood tests from the beginning.
