Yes! My mom calls her Maisy Mae all the time. It’s cute but I feel bad for giving her MMM as her initials hahah. I want to keep Maisy Marie but add something else in there

I personally am a fan of alliteration, and I like Maisy Mae, but that doesn't help with your initial situation. 😊
