I have my birth mom on Facebook. Has been for the last 6 years. Found her in 2013. She has her kids on Facebook and her grand daughters. Its just bitter sweet. I have so much resentment for her and her mother. My birth grandmother. But I love seeing pictures of her sons who all 3 look EXACTLY like my brother (my twin. Their brother also) it still amazes me. Then the grand daughters look so much like my daughters. Its just so amazing how genetic work

I reached out to my bio mom when I was 18 and never heard back. She’s not on fb that I can find. I’ve always wondered what hat she looks like, but I guess not

@anicole3285, I figure it’s her loss. I’m grateful for the difficult decision she made, I could only imagine how hard that was for her. But I grew up very lucky in very good circumstances, so who knows what could’ve been

I know what you mean. I was bitter for a very long time but looking at her now I think wow. I had an amazing life and I probably wouldn't have (as bad as it sounds) other wise. My parents do literally everything then they can to help me when I need it. To this day even and I'm 34

same! My parents are awesome and I’m very lucky. My bio mom was 16 and on her own, so I get why she did what she did.
