Any tips on helping a constipated 3 year old go number 2 ? Im increasing fuilds. Also seen that pears and pear juice could help so im going to try that. What else?

My toddler has this issue , he is seen by a gastroenterologist they recommend a Tablespoon of miralax and 1-2 little squares of ex lax chocolate s “u can buy that over the counter” also hope he feels better

This girl! It works every time and fairly quickly. It'll help with the cramping and tummy aches before she actually poops too. We SWEAR by it. Our kiddo has always had issues, he takes Miralax daily but every once un a while, we still need a dose of this.

The mirlax helps once it gets in their systems but it won't help her today. The constipation ease will make her go today. I WOULD start her on a miralax regimen though.
