Not here. We still have restrictions. Malls aren’t just open. I see a big problem with trick or treating.

Yeah! What could go wrong from grabbing candy from strangers you're not in contact with during Covid times! But seriously it's my son's birthday so we're too busy having a spooky party at home anyways 🥳

So you plan on wiping down and disinfecting every piece of candy?

The worry now is a second wave. I'm not freaked out. I would take my tot around our tiny town (only 298 cases since april, only 20 active cases all in the city part of our county). Our town hasn't had any and rarely get any trick or treaters. Last year there were 5 families out so a total of like 15 people!

But this year my parents and I are doing just a small halloween party for the kiddos. Going to hide the candy around the yard and let them hunt for it like its Easter. Each of us 10 adults will have candy for them to come and say trick or treat to. And at about 6 as long as it's not raining we will have a spooky movie on outside with a bonfire. If not itll be inside with smores.

I don't even trick our treat under "normal" circumstances. If someone gives my child anything, I throw it away, that's mostly because they give it to him without asking if it's ok, and that annoys me 🤣

Oh I do. We will be purchasing candy. Having a small halloween gathering. And only visiting family from a safe distance. I wipe every grocery I bring home and disinfect the trunk once home.

Crowed areas, trick or treating brings crowds, people trying to squeeze through the sidewalks and yards, if certain towns keep trick or treating going and others shut down, then your gonna see a ton of people from different places/counties running to those places causing MORE of a crowd.
