Hubs is really weird.
When I got my epidural he looked like he was going to faint... the nurses were like uhh maybe you should sit on the couch or something lmao
BUT when I gave birth he watched the whole thing and cut the cord no problem.
Freaking weirdo lmao
First baby was a c section. They called the nurse in the waiting room to tell him to come back, but she never did. The anesthesiologist went running out to get him and the poor guy ended up walking in halfway through my c section😬 He said he saw more of my guts than he ever wanted to see. Then he was nearly passing out the entire time...he is soo squeamish, cannot handle blood, so it was a traumatic experience for him! For my VBAC, he said he was NOT going to look! But when the midwife said "Look! There's her head!" he instinctively looked and ended up watching her be born. The look of amazement on his face was 😍 For this baby, he will probably end up watching...he just can't think about it before the moment😂
What's btdtm? SO is not a medical person hates blood and all things like that. Stood at the head of the bed. I'm proud of him though, he was initially scared to be in the room
My husband definitely saw when our son came out and held my hand the entire time and cut the cord. You know how there’s guys that thinks it’s disgusting well not him. I’m so glad I had his support❤️
I had an unplanned c-section due to our daughter inheriting my husband's humongous head.
The plan was that he would watch my vaginal birth. He's a farm kid and has watched many animals give birth so he wasn't going to be squeamish.
But instead he sat behind the blue curtain while I had my c-section and did just fine with that too.
same here! my c-section was due to not dilating even after an induction with cytotec and pitocin (stayed at 0cm even after 15 hours). my husband is all for watching the birth this time if it’s vaginal, but the first time he said “I did NOT want to see them pulling your guts out. I would’ve thrown up.”
@kush_queen420, 😂 you’re not weird, you know your limits and there’s nothing wrong with that. you came to have a baby, NOT to watch a horror movie come out of your coochie 🤣🤣🤣
My husband was there and watched and participated in all 4 of my births. He almost missed one though because he was asleep and we couldn’t get him to wake up so he barely got up in time to see it.
My ex husband (yes we were divorcing when kiddo was born) stood diligently by my head when kiddo came out...but then made the mistake of walking to the other side of the room when I was getting stitches....he straight up looked like Casper 👻😂
My husband watched our oldest and almost passed out so with kynzleigh he wasn't as intrigued into watching 😂😂
But he cried his eyes out both times of happiness
