I was supposed to see baby boy today on ultrasound for gender confirmation, but since hurricane Laura rolled through since early this morning with 75 mph winds , I had to reschedule my appointment. My appointment is now next Thursday at 10:10 am, I'm so anxious to see him !!! Grrr!! I'm about to head home and praying damages arent too bad and that we have electricity as we fled home this morning at 430. It's going to be 109 degrees tomorrow, so this is going to suck !! From what I'm understanding, damn near my whole town is out of power. Ahhh... it's going to be a long night. Also, send prayers for my family down in lake charles, I've still yet to hear from my brother and sister that stayed to ride the storm out. No one has been able to reach them 😞😞😞 were so worried as they took a direct hit from the eye wall of the hurricane at a strong category 4. My other brothers home is destroyed and uninhabitable there.
