In less than 3 weeks it will be my daughter’s 3rd birthday and i want to do something for her to make it special even if its just us. The thing is she really wants her grandma and my little sister and brother to come. She’s constantly asking for them. We haven’t seen them in 6 months because they go out and we don’t. What would you do? Would you have them come over? We all miss them like crazy because we would go over my mom’s house like every weekend and the kids got sooo attached.😭

Are any of those people high risk? We’ve been going about our lives almost like normal. We see family all the time, my sister, my brother, my mom etc. The only people we avoid is my husband’s parents because his mom is high risk. You could have a small get together outside. Or do a Facetime birthday where everyone can sing over FaceTime. That’s what we did for my son since his birthday was in April and back then the media made it seem like we would die if we left our house 🙄

My daughter had heart surgery when she was 6 months which is why we’ve been taking precautions. Hubby and i have been talking and we’ve came to the conclusion that we risk everyday he goes to work and with strangers when we go buy groceries what difference does it make with family. At least seeing our family makes us feel happy. Idk im just so over this covid s***. 🙄
