So, our plans for when Noah starts nursery I want to do a nursing degree whilst mark works part time I’m just wondering whether that’s an option on universal credit? Anyone else done this or in a similar position?

you should be able to still get help and stuff. Just depends how much he's earning and stuff

he’s not working atm, he’s gonna look when Noah is two which is September so hopefully we’ll have the ball rolling on everything when he starts nursery in jan 😀 x

That sounds exciting! Will you be doing an access course ? I was able to study sociology,psychology and social work when my daughter was in nursery.
Also if you contact your advisor on UC they can give you all the information and tell you about the upcoming courses you will be able to do, they are all for going back to work and further education.

Hi hun, how are you?
I’m not too sure yet I want to do a diploma I think.. I need to phone my advisor to find out more.. I’ll give her a call tomorrow id rather study than do a job I don’t want to do! Then at the end of it hopefully do a job I do want to do 😀 I just hope my partner can work part time whilst I’m doing it because then atleast we’ll have somewhat family time with Noah being at nursery aswell I’m jan we’ve got so much to think about, I know a diploma is for 3 years and you don’t have to start paying it back until you’re earning a certain wage xxx

Im studying design through the open university at the minute my kids will be in nursery next year xx
