Hey Mama's. Xavior is starting kindergarten!!!! X loves school. Soo much. When his Pre-K year was interrupted bc of covid, he was so upset that he started..having a lot of problems. So many that the doctor suggested counseling. He has anxiety and ADHD. He's only 5 😔 anyways....I'm asking for help with his list. We've been having troubles recently with Paul's income...he "works to much" to get any help, but not enough to keep up lately. I've known some of you for years. And some of your for days, weeks and months. You know I'd never ask u less I needed it. Most of my family don't even know our financial struggles. We never reach out for help. A lot of those school supplies you can get at the dollar tree. I got my kids a bunch of school stuff for less then $25. Also amazon has a school package deal for like $19 that has almost everything a kid needs

You should look into local churches in our area they all give out backpacks with school supplies and also for clothes places that sale gently used you can find stuff and a great price. And the childrens place online store watch for 70 off and you can get shirts 3 and shorts and pants 5 to 7 a piece.

why does he need 3 back packs? Paper plates that cost $25? All those boys no hand me downs? The problem is you made the registry on amazon which is expensive so I suggest trying Walmart. Like she said above a lot of the supplies can be bought at dollar tree and try the goodwill for clothes. A lot of people are struggling right now you can’t really ask someone to buy you paper plates that cost $25 really? I don’t even buy myself paper plates that cost $25 12 pack of glue sticks for one kid? Too much for a 5 yr old he doesn’t need those large amounts of supplies

Some things listed are for my step sons too. And I can post a picture of the school list. They wanted 6 glue sticks and 4 packs of crayons and everything.

And Xavior wears 5t. William wears size 8 and my oldest wears 10-12. What left over they had were so worn down that by the time they fit X there is too many holes, rips and tears.

Thrift stores are the best for clothes try there they have 99 cent days etc and school supplies you can probably find a service that would help you get a backpack and supplies one year I waited at a park for like 3 hrs to get one idk what it was called but it helped also clothing banks at church’s might help

Just some ideas everyone is struggling this year food supplies clothes so its hard on all parents to get everything needed. Churches and centers right now are helping in a 3 you can get backpacks and school supplies also you can get clothes for your kids and food. I would really look into that in your area.

Check Target. I got my daughter boxes of crayons for 99 cents and glue for 50 cents. She’s doing distance learning though so we’ll just use it at home for now. Also some parents donate extras to the class so there’s a chance his teacher will have extra supplies for him.
